Every year the Jacksonville community comes together in March to celebrate the mission of Young Life locally. You will laugh, eat well, and leave encouraged. Hear from the students who are being impacted personally by the volunteers who invest their lives in Jacksonville's young people. With Riverside's historic Church of the Good Shepherd as the backdrop, we hope to raise the funds necessary to continue Young Life growth in our community. Suggested donation of 10 dollars per person.

GivE !

Donors are vital to Young Life at the local area and regional levels. Because Young Life areas are financially supported solely at the local level, donors’ financial gifts account for all of an area's budget and part of a region's budget. Your donation helps areas hire and train staff and provide essential administrative support to the area. Your contributions also support operating expenses such as salaries and other ministry costs and can help send kids to Young Life camps.

What is Young Life?
Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight - they take time, patience, trust and consistency. We build these relationships with kids hoping that one day they grasp how loved and cared for they really are. Young Life has been in Jacksonville for close to 50 years and we are honored to have this opportunity in our community!

Young Life is reaching teenagers throughout Northeast Florida with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Central Jacksonville Area is active in the private and magnet schools in Duval County including Bolles, Episcopal, Stanton, Paxon and Providence High Schools.  Our middle school ministry is called WyldLife and is active with students at Landon middle school, Bolles, Episcopal, James Weldon Johnson and several of the 6th grade feeder schools.  We also have an active ministry with teenagers and young adults with disabilities called Capernaum which works mainly with students from the North Florida School for Special Education.
